Skin Clinic: early detection and treatment of skin cancers using advanced diagnostic tools

Our Skin Clinic focuses on the assessment and management of suspicious skin lesions using modern diagnostic techniques. Dermatoscopic imaging supports accurate evaluation, allowing clinicians to identify changes that may require further investigation or treatment.

Monitoring plays an important role in maintaining skin health over time. Where appropriate, digital tracking is used to compare changes across visits, helping guide clinical decisions and ensuring any concerning developments are addressed promptly.

Early detection and ongoing monitoring play an important role in effective skin cancer care and long-term skin health.

  • We provide both non-surgical and surgical treatment options, from minor procedures through to more complex excisions, depending on the type, size and location of the lesion being assessed.

  • Ongoing monitoring may include digital mole mapping and scheduled reviews, allowing changes in your skin to be tracked over time and supporting early intervention where clinically appropriate.

Important Information about The Skin Clinic

Patient Information

A comprehensive skin assessment helps detect changes early and ensures any concerns are reviewed, documented, and managed appropriately over time.

A full skin check generally takes around 15 minutes and involves a thorough examination of your skin, including areas not regularly exposed to the sun. Appropriate lighting and dermatoscopic tools are used to support accurate assessment and clear clinical documentation.

You may be asked to undress to your underwear for a complete assessment, with a gown provided for comfort and privacy. Suspicious lesions can be photographed and securely recorded to allow for consistent comparison and monitoring across future visits.

Regular skin checks are recommended for individuals with a history of skin cancer, high sun exposure, or multiple moles. Ongoing review helps identify changes early and supports timely, appropriate management where required.
