Dr. Clinton Leahy

Clinton Grew up on the North Coast where he attended high school at Richmond River Lismore. Clinton went on to the University of Queensland where he studied science and medicine.
Clinton has been working in Aboriginal/Tropical medicine since 2000. He also subspecialty in Anaesthesiology.
He is passionate about conservation and low impact living and in his spare time enjoys farming, surfing and camping.
Dr. James Williams

After graduating from the University of Leeds I completed my foundation training in Yorkshire, England.
Disappointed with the British weather, I moved to Melbourne where I spent time working in emergency medicine, paediatrics and women’s health. Having decided on GP training I completed my post graduate studies in the Coffs Harbour region. I am interested in all aspects of general practice including men’s health, paediatrics and all chronic conditions.
When not at work you can find me walking the dog, tending to my apiary or attempting to surf.
Dr Daniel Ooi
CCFP, MPhil, MSc, MBChB, FRACGP
Daniel graduated from the University of Dundee in 2000.
After completing 12 months of internship in Perth, Scotland, he went on to gain more experience in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Emergency Medicine.
Subsequently, he entered General Practice residency, training in the rural town of Rugby, England. After he gained his MRCGP qualification, Daniel spent sometime working as a ship physician on Carnival Cruise Lines, and a volunteer doctor in the Amazon of Peru and Himaylaya of Nepal. He gained further training in Tropical Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Liverpool and Cardiff, respectively.
His other qualifications include FRACGP, CCFP, and an MPhil from University of Cambridge. Before moving to Australia, Daniel was working as a GP in rural Canada.
Daniel is currently pursuing a Master in Skin Cancer with the University of Queensland, and is expected to be accredited by the Skin Cancer College in 2021.
Dr Lara Tereshchenko
Lara grew up in Byron Bay before heading off to complete her medical degree with the University of New England.
After graduating she completed internship and residency on the Central Coast, where she especially enjoyed rotations in the busy mixed paediatric, womens and adults emergency department as well as intensive care, anaesthetics and general surgery. She then went on to work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney as a critical care senior resident medical officer before deciding to join general practice and make the move back to the Northern Rivers.
She enjoys all aspects of GP including dermatology, skin cancer, women’s health and paediatrics. When not at work she enjoys surfing, horse riding, finding waterfalls and hanging out with her cat.
Tahmina Completed her MBBS degree and Internship from Bangladesh and moved to Australia to live with her family. After that she completed Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Queensland and worked in Medical Research at the University of Queensland in Brisbane for several years. She has passed Australian Medical Council (AMC) examinations and worked as a Senior Resident Medical Officer for four and a half years at various regional/remote and city hospitals in Queensland and Western Australia. She enjoyed rotations in the busy Emergency department, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine, Palliative Care, Cardiology/CCU, Orthopaedics and Colorectal Surgery.
Tahmina is passionate about providing the best health care possible to her patients. She believes listening to her patients is the most important communication skill. She loves working in General Practice for being able to provide the continuity of care.
When not at work Tahmina enjoys meditation, reading, cooking, spending time with her family and loves doing charity work.
