Dr Lara Tereshchenko – FRACGP – MBBS

Lara grew up in Byron Bay before completing her medical degree with the University of New England.
After graduating she completed internship and residency on the Central Coast, enjoying rotations in the busy mixed paediatric, women’s and adult’s emergency department and intensive care, anaesthetics and general surgery. She worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney as a critical care senior resident medical officer before joining general practice and moving back to the Northern Rivers.
Areas of interest – dermatology, skin cancer/skin checks, women’s health, paediatrics, implanon insertion/removal, medical termination of pregnancy, cosmetic injectables.
Dr Daniel Ooi
CCFP, MPhil, MSc, MBChB, FRACGP

Daniel graduated from the University of Dundee in 2000.
After completing 12 months of internship in Perth, Scotland, he went on to gain more experience in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Emergency Medicine.
Subsequently, he entered General Practice residency, training in the rural town of Rugby, England. After he gained his MRCGP qualification, Daniel spent sometime working as a ship physician on Carnival Cruise Lines, and a volunteer doctor in the Amazon of Peru and Himaylaya of Nepal. He gained further training in Tropical Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Liverpool and Cardiff, respectively.
His other qualifications include FRACGP, CCFP, and an MPhil from University of Cambridge. Before moving to Australia, Daniel was working as a GP in rural Canada.
Daniel is currently pursuing a Master in Skin Cancer with the University of Queensland, and is expected to be accredited by the Skin Cancer College in 2021.
